1. How to register Apple Music Converter for Mac?

Launch Apple Music Converter, click the "Key" icon or click the "Menu" icon on the upper right and then select "Register". There will be a pop-up registration dialog where you can copy and paste your registration e-mail and license code to get the program registered.

2. Why am I getting "Invalid Code"?

There are two possible causes for invalid code.

[1]The registration code doesn't match the program. Please make sure you are running the right program.

[2]Extra spaces are accidentally added while filling in your e-mail and code. Please check whether there are spaces before or after the registration info.

If you still get the Error Message, please contact our support team via [email protected] for help.

3. Why am I limited to convert the first 3 minutes of each audio file?

It's the limitation of free trial version. To unlock the restriction, please purchase a license.

4. How to fix the problem that I can only see a fraction of my iTunes library in Apple Music Converter?

[1]Please make sure you've downloaded all your music from iTunes to your computer and your computer is well authorized with the same Apple ID that you used when downloading the iTunes music.

[2]If you've already downloaded the music but the program fails to read them, please recreate your iTunes Music library.xml for a try:

a. Uninstall Apple Music Converter from your computer

b. Go to your home directory –> Music –> iTunes and delete "iTunes Music Library.xml"

c. Download and install Apple Music Converter from Download Center (DO NOT launch Apple Music Converter)

d. Start iTunes and play a song to generate a new .xml file

Now close iTunes and start Apple Music Converter to check whether the issue can be fixed.

5. How to get the highest output quality?

Please select AAC as the output format to get the highest output quality. If you are still unsatisfied with it, please contact us via e-mail at [email protected] for further help.

6. How to make Apple Music Converter work faster under macOS 10.13?

7. I'm limited to do the conversion at 1X speed. What happened?

We are sorry that currently the program is limited to 1X conversion speed under macOS 10.14 and above. The Windows version of the program is able to convert at fast speed as usual. We can help you switch to the Windows version if needed.

8. How to fix the problem that there are short breaks of silence or 1 or 2 seconds of a random song with the converted audios?

Please disable the Crossfade Songs in iTunes > Preferences > Playback.

9. I'm getting "Conversion Failed". What should I do?

[1]Please make sure you are running the latest version of Apple Music Converter program, otherwise, please directly download the latest version of Apple Music Converter from Download Center.

[2]Please make sure your original audios can be played normally on iTunes. -- If it is purchased M4P music from iTunes, please make sure your computer is well authorized with the same Apple ID that you used when downloading the iTunes music.

[3]Please check whether the problem happens to certain music files or not. If yes, please re-convert the music for a try.

[4]Please check whether there is an external audio device connected to your computer, such asUSB, Wi-Fi, Airplay, Bluetooth and HDMI, etc. If yes, please disconnect them and retry.

[5]After clicking "Convert", please check whether there is any popup blocking message (such as download, authorization, update...) in your iTunes. If yes, please resolve them and retry.

[6]For macOS 10.13 or above users, please check whether you've installed other similar music converters. If yes, please delete the driver file under"/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/MMAudio Device.driver", open terminal, and enter "sudo killall coreaudiod" command. Now relaunch Apple Music Converter for a try.

[7]If the problem persists, please add the program to accessibility permissions on your macOS:

Step 1: Click the Apple symbol in your macOS menu bar and open System Preferences.
Step 2: Choose Security & Privacy.
Step 3: From the Security & Privacy panel, open the Privacy tab and select Accessibility.
Step 4: click the lock at the bottom of the modal window to make changes and then click the + sign and find Apple Music Converter in your Applications folder.

Once you double-click the application, it will automatically be added to the "Allow the apps below to control your computer" list. Make sure to check the box next to it before clicking the lock again.

Should the problem persist, please send an e-mail to our support team at [email protected], attached your macOS info as well as the log files of Apple Music Converter. Just find the menu button on the upper left corner and click on File > Show Log File, and a window which contains the log files would pop up. They are iTunes.log and Application.log.

10. How to fix no sound issue on Mac after using Apple Music Converter?

11. I got a message saying “Apple Music Converter” can’t be opened because Apple Cannot check it for malicious software. What should I do?

Apple Music Converter is a 100% clean program. If you fail to launch Apple Music Converter for Mac under the latest macOS 10.15 Catalina, please go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy. Under the General tab, click Open Anyway to confirm your intent to open or install Apple Music Converter. 12. I encounter some problems that I can't find in FAQ. How can I get technical support?

Note: If the above solutions still cannot fix your problems, please provide the following information to our support team via [email protected]. We will reply to your message within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekend. And we will submit your feedback to our developers and inform you if the solution is available.

  • 1. Please send us the detailed info of your Mac OS.
  • 2. Are you a Prime Music user or Amazon Music Unlimited user? And which country/region does your Amazon Music account belong to?
  • 3. What is the output format you choose?
  • 4. Did the problem happen to a certain audio file or to all audio files?
  • 5. Please send us the log files. You can find them by going to the program, click the Menu button (on the upper right corner) > Open log file. You will see a logs folder, please send us the iTunes.log and Application.log in this folder.
